Generations Healthcare's Pleasanton Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center in Pleasanton, CA is seeking a Rehabilitation Aide for a full-time Friday-Tuesday schedule to join our team. We are dedicated to delivering compassionate care and maintaining an enjoyable work environment.

The role supports licensed Therapists, ensures proper documentation and charting, and assists with routine therapy treatments. It requires strong communication skills and the ability to move and transfer residents as needed

Qualifications

High School graduate.
Able to communicate in English verbally and in writing.
Completion of an on-the-job orientation and training program or demonstrates competency in each of the designated areas.
Able to move and transfer residents in conjunction with standard treatment and in accordance with orientation and training program.

Responsibilities

Assists with and performs routine assigned physical and occupational therapy treatments; demonstrating knowledge of treatment goals and precautions in order to assist with or treat patients.
Follows all safety regulations, protocols, policies and procedures.
Maintains safety and cleanliness of work area and equipment.
Communicates with facility staff.
Confers with therapists to establish efficient treatment schedules.
Transports, transfers and facilitates patient care as directed by therapists.
Prepares patient equipment and supplies for treatment
