Job summary

Generations Healthcare is seeking a Rehabilitation Aide on a per diem weekend shift to support therapists in providing quality patient care at our California facility. The role emphasizes assistive care, safety, and efficient treatment scheduling within the team.

The position requires a High School diploma with a preference for a CNA license; strong English communication and ability to move/transfer residents are essential, along with successful orientation completion.

Qualifications

• High School graduate.
• C.N.A License is preferred.
• Able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
• Completion of an on-the-job orientation and training program or demonstrates competency in each of the designated areas.
• Able to move and transfer residents in conjunction with standard treatment and in accordance with orientation and training program.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine physical and occupational therapy treatments under supervision of licensed Therapists.
• Follow all safety regulations, protocols, policies and procedures.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of work area and equipment.
• Communicate with facility staff.
• Confers with therapists to establish efficient treatment schedules.
• Transports, transfers and facilitates patient care as directed by therapists.
• Prepares patient equipment and supplies for treatment.
