Job summary

San Bruno Skilled Nursing in San Bruno, CA is seeking a part-time Rehabilitation Aide/Tech to support physical, occupational, and speech therapy services and help residents reach their highest level of function. You will assist with therapy setup, transport residents, maintain a safe environment, coordinate schedules, and help with logs and documentation while communicating with therapists and staff.

San Bruno Skilled Nursing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Rehabilitation Aide/Tech to join our rehabilitation team. This position plays a vital role in supporting physical, occupational, and speech therapy services while helping residents achieve their highest level of function and independence.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with setup and preparation for therapy treatments.
• Transport residents and prepare equipment as directed by therapists.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized rehabilitation environment.
• Support resident scheduling and coordination of therapy services.
• Monitor and order rehabilitation supplies as needed.
• Complete logs, reports, and other required documentation accurately and timely.
• Communicate effectively with therapists, nursing staff, residents, and families.
• Report unusual occurrences or resident concerns promptly.
• Participate in department meetings, training programs, and facility in-services.
• Assist with exercise programs and community-related rehabilitation activities.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and adhere to company policies and dress code standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Previous rehabilitation, healthcare, or patient care experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift throughout the workday.
• Ability to safely assist with transporting residents and rehabilitation equipment.
• Must be capable of performing physically active duties in a healthcare setting.
