Athletico in Illinois seeks a part-time Rehabilitation Aide to assist therapists and the Patient Experience Coordinator. You will prepare patients, support treatment, and help with non-clinical tasks in a patient-centered clinic.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or intern preferred
• Work Experience: Previous Clinical Aide or Rehab Tech experience preferred
• Knowledge and Technical Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills; Ability to clearly document all projects; Attention to detail and time management; Focus on patient satisfaction; Energetic team player; Compassion for patients; Complete tasks thoroughly; Basic knowledge of office equipment

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for physical therapy treatments and assists therapists during treatments
• Safeguards, motivates, and assists patients performing exercises under professional supervision
• Provides routine treatments (hot/cold packs, ultrasound, electrical stimulation)
• Cleans work area and equipment after treatment
• Washes linens and maintains linen cabinets
• Restocks restrooms and supply areas
• Assists patient experience coordinator with phones, scheduling, and filing
• Maintains inventory of clinic supplies and may order items
