Job summary

Athletico is seeking a Rehabilitation Aide to assist clinicians and the Patient Experience Coordinator in an on-site clinic in Chicago. You will greet patients, support therapists, and help with both administrative and clinical duties in compliance with state practice acts.

The role includes assisting with patient care, documentation, scheduling, and inventory while contributing to a positive patient experience. This is a part-time position with comprehensive benefits as listed.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate and/or intern preferred.
• Work Experience: Previous Clinical Aide or Rehab Tech experience preferred.
• Knowledge and Technical Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to clearly document all projects; attention to detail and time management; focus on patient satisfaction; energetic team player; compassion toward patients; thorough task completion; basic office equipment knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for physical therapy treatments and assists therapists during procedures.
• Motivates and assists patients with exercises and activities under supervision.
• Provides routine treatments (hot/cold packs, Ultrasounds, electrical stimulation).
• Cleans work area and equipment after treatment.
• Washes linens, maintains linen cabinets.
• Restrooms and other areas cleaned and restocked as needed.
• Assists patient experience coordinator with answering phones, scheduling appointments, and filing paperwork.
• Keeps track of non-medical and medical supplies; may order inventory.
