Job summary

Athletico is hiring a part-time Rehabilitation Aide to assist clinicians and the Patient Experience Coordinator in a busy Illinois clinic. You will greet patients, prepare them for therapy, and help with treatment through administrative and clinical tasks while complying with state requirements.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, is team-oriented, demonstrates compassion, and can manage documentation and scheduling duties in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate and/or intern preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to clearly document all projects and manage production.
• Attention to detail and time management are required.
• Energetic and a team player.
• Compassion toward patients.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for physical therapy treatments and assists with treatments.
• Safeguards and assists patients with exercises under staff direction.
• Provides routine treatments such as hot/cold packs and modalities (ultrasounds, electrical stimulation).
• Cleans work area and equipment after treatment.
• Washes linens and maintains cabinets.
• Restocks restrooms and supplies.
• Assists patient experience coordinator with answering phones, scheduling, and filing.
