Job summary

Athletico is seeking a part-time Rehabilitation Aide to assist clinicians and the Patient Experience Coordinator in our Chicago clinic. You will prepare patients, assist with treatments, and help with patient intake and charting.

In this role you’ll work closely with physical therapists and aides, support non-clinical tasks, and help maintain a positive, efficient clinic environment while following state practice act requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate and or intern preferred.
• Work Experience: Previous Clinical Aide or Rehab Tech experience preferred.
• Knowledge and Technical Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to clearly document projects; time management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for physical therapy treatments and assists therapists.
• Motivates and assists patients with exercises and activities under supervision.
• Provides routine treatments and modalities such as hot/cold packs, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation.
• Cleans treatment area and equipment after use.
• Washes linens and maintains cabinets; restocks supplies.
• Assists patient experience coordinator with phones, scheduling, and filing papers.
