Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a Physical/Occupational Therapy Technician (PT/OT Tech) to assist PT/OT staff in inpatient and outpatient settings under direct supervision. You will help with patient mobility, guide exercises, transport patients, and support device cleaning and stocking.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience in healthcare setting preferred
• BLS certification required (or instructor)

Responsibilities

• Assist with delegated treatment plan activities: mobility, exercising, functional activities
• Transport patients to/from treatment areas
• Assist in equipment inspection and maintenance
• Procure and stock supplies; support infection control processes
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and care team
• Adhere to department rehabilitation standards and safety guidelines
