Encompass Health is seeking a Rehabilitation Therapy Technician I to support rehabilitation therapists, set up equipment, and help deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You will collaborate with therapists and nurses in a safe, clean environment, ensuring smooth daily operations and positive patient experiences.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred (unless hospital policy requires otherwise).
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Has completed elements required for clinical ladder Rehab Tech I or equivalent training in school or on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Support therapists’ daily patient care and therapy activities.
• Facilitate effective communication with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain patient safety and deliver patient-centered treatment.
• Prepare and transport patients according to the patient schedule.
• Communicate to therapists on outcomes/observations of patient care activities.
