Job summary

3M HEALTHCARE is seeking a Rehab Aide to work under the direct supervision of a licensed physical or occupational therapist. You will assist with therapeutic modalities as instructed, prepare treatment areas, and transport patients using wheelchairs or stretchers.

You will maintain a clean, safe environment, ensure equipment is operable, and support routine office tasks. Some travel between facilities may be required to support patient care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required or preferred; some healthcare coursework beneficial.
• Ability to perform data entry and use standard software for patient information.
• Strong communication skills for diverse patient and staff interactions.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains treatment areas, orders supplies and linens.
• Orients and mentors new staff in assigned area.
• Assists with patient care under therapist instruction.
• Transports patients to and from departments via wheelchair or stretcher.
• Supports general office and front desk procedures as needed.
• Adheres to infection control policies and isolation procedures.
