Job summary

FMOL Health is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician to assist therapists and assistants in transporting, lifting, transferring and treating patients. You will help with general patient activity programs under supervision and maintain equipment, supplies and facilities.

Responsibilities include transporting patients, preparing treatment areas, observing during activities, performing tech duties, and ensuring a clean, orderly department. Clerical duties and meeting participation are also expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare settings preferred.
• Ability to recognize patients' individual needs based on medical conditions and age.
• Strong attention to safety and cleanliness in a clinical area.

Responsibilities

• Maintains department policies, quality assurance and safety.
• Transports patients to/from therapy programs considering age and conditions.
• Assists in treatment activities; reports observations to therapists.
• Prepares treatment areas, patients and equipment for treatments.
• Keeps department clean, neat and orderly.
• Performs tech duties in assigned areas.
• Labels defective equipment; performs maintenance duties.
• Orders and maintains supplies.
• Performs clerical duties such as filing, errands, and phone calls.
• Attends meetings as required.
• Participates in educational programs and in-service meetings.
• Performs other duties to support the department.
