Riverside Rehabilitation Hospital in Yorktown, VA is seeking a Therapy Aide to support therapists in delivering hands-on care to patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, and orthopedic issues. This full-time role includes assisting with transfers, positioning, and equipment setup, with a compensation range of $16.32–$19.51 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification or completion within 90 days of employment required.
• Hospital experience as therapy aide preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist with patient-related tasks assigned by therapists.
• Lifts patients to/from mats, treatment and tilt tables, wheelchairs and other equipment.
• Assist patients with transfer activities to all surfaces.
• Position patients for standing with orthotic/prosthetic devices and equipment.
• Transport patients to/from therapy sessions as needed.
• Assist with equipment setup and patient positioning for therapy sessions as outlined in state practice.
