Newport News, Virginia Hiring Range $15.60 - $20.25/Hourly Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs. Riverside Regional Medical Center is currently hiring for part-time rehab aide to join their acute care therapy team! This position would be a great fit for those with a background in exercise science or rehab-centered patient care. This position is 30 hours per week and benefits eligible!

Overview

A Rehab Aide assists the licensed therapist in the provision of physical therapy, speech therapy, and / or occupational therapy treatments in accordance with state practice and professional guidelines. Performs duties to maintain a safe and clean environment including maintaining clean equipment and clinic space, monitoring inventories, ordering supplies and other administrative duties to support the front end staff as needed. The Rehab Aide may work in an inpatient, outpatient and/or skilled nursing/long term care setting. The Rehab Aide is supervised by Rehab Services management and maintains a positive working relationship with other health professionals and ancillary staff.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, (Preferred)
• Experience: 1 year Healthcare experience (Preferred)
• Licenses and Certifications: CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) (Preferred)
