Responsibilities

• Provides non-skilled patient care activities as directed by therapist or therapy assistant.
• Maintains a safe and clean environment wiping down equipment, preparing mat tables for the next patient and managing soiled linens.
• Assists with patient communication regarding schedule or appointments.
• Assists with audits and reports. Answers the phones.
• Maintains appropriate levels of supplies and assures equipment is ready for use. Stocks shelves, monitors inventory and orders supplies.
• Assists with new employee, student, and volunteer training.

This position is 30 hours per week and benefits eligible!**Overview** A Rehab Aide assists the licensed therapist in the provision of physical therapy, speech therapy, and / or occupational therapy treatments in accordance with state practice and professional guidelines. Performs duties to maintain a safe and clean environment including maintaining clean equipment and clinic space, monitoring inventories, ordering supplies and other administrative duties to support the front end staff as needed. The Rehab Aide may work in an inpatient, outpatient and/or skilled nursing/long term care setting.
