Job summary
Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks a Rehabilitation Teacher III to administer Skill Acquisition Plans (SAP) for individuals with IDD in a State Supported Living Center. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, develop SAPs, train staff, and monitor progress while ensuring safety and effective discharge planning.

Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited college in rehabilitation, psychology, sociology, social work, education, or related field; or
- Bachelor's degree in a related field with 1 year IDD experience; or
- High school diploma with 2 years IDD experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop SAPs to promote future independence across domains.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team to identify SAP needs.
- Train DSPs and create SAP teaching materials.
- Monitor SAP progress and document outcomes.
- Ensure safety and compliance; assist in discharge planning.
