Job summary

Chautauqua Rehabilitation Suites is seeking a Rehab Tech in Florida to assist residents with daily care, transfers, and therapy preparation. You will support therapists, assist with ROM and strengthening routines, and help maintain a safe, clean therapy area.

Qualifications include Florida CNA certification; experience in skilled nursing or long-term care is a plus. The role offers top pay and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and Paid Time Off.

Qualifications

• Must have Florida CNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with morning care and basic ADLs for therapy prep.
• Safely transfer and transport residents to therapy sessions.
• Set up therapy equipment and prepare treatment areas.
• Support therapists during sessions with positioning and safety monitoring.
• Complete restorative nursing programs (ROM, strengthening, ambulation, ADL maintenance).
• Document participation and report changes in resident condition.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and maintain an organized therapy area.
• Participate in engaging activities promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
• Follow activity plans for residents with dementia or cognitive impairments.
• Collaborate with staff to align activities with residents' preferences and abilities.
• Facilitate recreational therapy sessions to enhance quality of life.
• Maintain records of participation and outcomes; perform other duties as assigned.
