Valley View Hospital is seeking a Rehab Scheduler in Glenwood Springs, CO for the Rehab Department. This full-time role focuses on coordinating outpatient rehabilitation referrals, timely patient outreach, and ensuring scheduling within set timeframes.

Responsibilities include contacting patients within 72 hours of referrals, leaving messages, and coordinating with Patient Access to verify benefits or obtain insurance authorization when needed. Competitive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 0–6 months minimum experience; able to work in the United States (visa sponsorship not available).

Rehab Scheduler needed for our Glenwood Springs Rehab Department!

This is a full-time position in our Rehabilitation Services department.

As the Rehab Scheduler you will:

• 1. Monitor for incoming referrals to Outpatient Rehab Services


• 2. Call patients within 72 hours of receiving referrals


• 3. Leave messages for patients who don't answer


• 4. Call patients back if patient has not responded and scheduled evaluation within 48 hours


• 5. Communicate with Patient Access Professional after scheduling new evaluation to request benefit verification or insurance authorization if required based on patient's insurance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• High School graduate or equivalent

Experience:

• 0-6 months minimum

SALARY RANGE

• $20.00to$28.87/hour
• Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
