Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, OH is hiring a Staff Nurse (RN) for the Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. You will manage and provide direct patient care, coordinate with an interdisciplinary team, and supervise other staff to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

The unit serves brain and spine injury rehab and oncology patients; a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio, and opportunities for clinical ladder and specialty certification are offered.

Qualifications

• 2-year College Degree in Nursing from CCNE/ACEN accredited program required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current Ohio license or interim permit required.
• 2 years of rehab or acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and provide care to the patient and family, directing and supervising nursing care.
• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, delegate and evaluate nursing care.
• Maintain alignment with the professional practice model and safety standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes.
