Job summary

Good Shepherd Rehabilitation is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our inpatient rehabilitation team at Center Valley. You will perform the nursing process, coordinate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, and support patients and families throughout recovery.

Responsibilities include care planning within 24 hours of admission, delegating to LPNs and CNAs, and ensuring high-quality, compliant care while educating patients and families about condition, meds, and self-care.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required.
• RN license required; CPR/BLS certification required.
• Rehabilitation Nursing certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process and collaborating with the care team.
• Delegate and supervise care assigned to LPNs and CNAs to meet patient needs.
• Establish and implement care plans within 24 hours of admission, including education for patient and family.
• Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families.
• Ensure safe, high-quality care and maintain regulatory compliance and documentation.

Education

Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)

Registered Nurse license

Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing (preferred)
