• Greets patients and families and checks them in, verifying demographic data and insurance information.
• Manages multi-line phone system, transfers calls, and checks messages multiple times daily.
• Schedules patient appointments, communicates preferences, and prints schedules for visits.
• Coordinates referrals, authorizations, and insurance requirements with physician offices and insurers.
• Prepares and files charts, orders forms, and supports front office procedures.
• Performs chart requisitions, assists with front office/therapist checklists, and supports performance improvement tasks.
