Job summary

Preferred Therapy Solutions is seeking a full-time Rehab Director / Occupational Therapist (OT/OTR) to lead the sub-acute/skilled nursing Rehab Department in Salisbury, CT. The role focuses on efficient operations, planning rehab programs, and mentoring staff while delivering therapy services on-site to residents and community patients.

The ideal candidate will be a licensed Occupational Therapist or eligible in CT, with SNF treatment experience and a track record managing a SNF rehabilitation

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist or eligible in the state of employment.
• Experience as a treating therapist in the Skilled Nursing Facility setting.
• Experience managing a SNF rehabilitation department.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Plan and implement rehabilitation programs and procedures to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient admissions, schedules, MDS assessment periods and data.
• Provide administrative rehabilitation supervision.
• Serve as a rehabilitation staff mentor.
• Provide therapy services as needed.

Good Faith Rate Range: $45.00 - $55.00

A Full-time REHAB DIRECTOR / Occupational Therapist (OT/OTR) position is now available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing Rehab Department located in Salisbury, CT.

Facility is located on the grounds of a continuing care retirement community located on a 110-acre wooded campus. Rehab provides services on the campus (short term, long term, and independent living) but facility also has a separate outpatient rehab office space where rehab treats patients from the community.
