Job summary

Therapy Management Corporation (TMC) is seeking a Director of Rehabilitation to lead a multidisciplinary team serving adult and geriatric populations. You will provide day-to-day oversight, mentor therapists, and partner with facility leadership to drive quality patient outcomes while maintaining a strong patient-care focus.

You will guide clinicians through coaching, scheduling, and compliance, ensuring a supportive culture where staff feel valued and empowered to grow professionally.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), PTA or COTA in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited PT/OT/SLP/PTA or COTA program.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and day-to-day oversight of the facility’s rehabilitation therapy program.
• Lead, mentor, and support a multidisciplinary therapy team.
• Help clinicians deliver personalized, patient-centered rehabilitation focused on independence, mobility, safety, and quality of life.
• Partner with facility leadership, nursing, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to drive quality outcomes and continuity of care.
• Support therapy development through coaching, mentorship, communication, and ongoing clinical guidance.
• Oversee therapy operations, including staffing, scheduling, productivity, clinical documentation, regulatory compliance, and program performance.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen and grow rehabilitation services while maintaining quality patient care.
• Monitor patient and program outcomes and collaborate to continuously improve the rehabilitation experience.
• Foster a culture where therapists feel supported, valued, accountable, and empowered to succeed.
• Serve as a trusted partner to facility leadership while advocating for patients and the therapy team.

Education

Licensed professionals in state of practice (PT/OT/SLP PTA COTA)

Graduate of accredited PT/OT/SLP/PTA/COTA program
