Job summary

Therapy Management Corporation (TMC) is seeking a Director of Rehabilitation to lead a multidisciplinary therapy team serving adult and geriatric populations. You will drive patient-centered outcomes, mentor clinicians, and collaborate with facility leadership to ensure high-quality care.

This role emphasizes clinical leadership, program oversight, and strategic growth at the local level. You will maintain connections to direct patient care while developing leadership and management experience

Qualifications

• Licensed PT/OT/SLP/PTA/COTA in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited PT, OT, SLP, PTA, or COTA program.
• 2+ years of healthcare experience; long-term care setting preferred.
• Interest or experience in geriatric rehabilitation or senior living therapy.
• Passion for patient-centered care and improving quality of life for older adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and day-to-day oversight of the facility’s rehabilitation therapy program.
• Lead, mentor, and support a multidisciplinary therapy team while creating a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Help clinicians deliver personalized, patient-centered rehabilitation focused on independence, mobility, safety, and quality of life.
• Partner with facility leadership, nursing, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to drive quality outcomes and continuity of care.
• Support therapist development through coaching, mentorship, communication, and ongoing clinical guidance.
• Oversee therapy operations, including staffing, scheduling, productivity, clinical documentation, regulatory compliance, and program performance.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen and grow rehabilitation services while maintaining a strong focus on quality patient care.
• Monitor patient and program outcomes and collaborate with your team to continuously improve the rehabilitation experience.
• Foster a culture where therapists feel supported, valued, accountable, and empowered to succeed.
• Serve as a trusted partner to facility leadership while advocating for both patients and the therapy team.
