Job summary

Legacy is seeking a licensed clinician to serve as the primary representative at the Boca Raton facility. You will lead clinical program development, supervise staff, and ensure therapy services align with corporate standards and local regulatory requirements.

You will coordinate rehab activities with facility leadership, promote Legacy policies, and drive outcomes through effective scheduling and communication.

Qualifications

• Clinical background in PT/OT/SLP with licensure in the applicable state
• 3–5 years’ experience in long-term care or senior living
• Supervisory experience preferred but not required

Job description

• Serve as the primary Legacy representative at the facility
• Promote Legacy policies and clinical programs
• Create rapport and positive working relationships with facility personnel and Legacy employees
• Oversee internal marketing efforts and communicate Legacy programs and offerings
• Manage site productivity and make necessary changes to achieve budget
• Maintain a caseload that assists the rehab department in meeting standards
• Assess patient needs and develop clinical programs appropriate for facility census
• Direct and train others in clinical service delivery across disciplines
• Coordinate the rehab department daily with facility staff to plan and implement therapy programming
• Participate in clinical outcomes reporting and share results with the customer
• Manage staff schedules to meet caseload requirements and use scheduling tools for patient schedules
• Manage CliniFax and physician signatures on therapy plans of care
• Maintain communication among rehab staff, facility staff, and Legacy corporate personnel
• Assist with staff orientation and training to meet company, state, and federal standards

Requirements

• Clinical background as a Physical Therapist (PT), Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), Occupational Therapist (OT), Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), or Speech Language Pathologies (SLP)
• Three to five years’ experience in long-term care (LTC) or senior living
• Some prior supervisory experience preferred but not required
• Minimum of a degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience (i.e., degree in PT, PTA, OT, COTA, SLP)
• Licensed and registered (PT, PTA, OT, COTA, SLP) in the state where assigned
