Job summary

Key Rehab is seeking a Program Coordinator-PTA to join our team in a skilled nursing facility setting. Primary duties include coordinating staffing and scheduling, serving as liaison between the rehab team and community staff, and supporting clinicians to deliver therapy services.

Overview

Key Rehab is looking for a Program Coordinator-PTAto join our teamin a SNF setting.

Education:-Required: Completion of an accredited PTA or OTA program Experience:-Preferred: Prior experience in long term care setting and service coordination Licenses/Certificates:-Required: Current PTA or OTA license to practice in the state(s) assigned-Required: CPR, as required by community -Required: Valid driver license and car insurance as required by state law. -Required: Other items as required by federal, state and local standards

Responsibilities

In addition to providing therapy under their disciplinary scope of practice (OTA or PTA), the Program Coordinator serves as the liaison between Key Rehab and community staff. This position is instrumental in minimizing administrative burden and providing support to allow clinicians' to deliver therapy services. This position also coordinates staffing and daily scheduling to meet key performance indicators and expectations under the direction of a Regional Supervisor.

• Experience with Geriatric Population: Prior experience working with elderly patients, demonstrating an understanding of their unique needs.
• Knowledge of Medicare Billing Regulations: Familiarity with current Medicare billing practices and guidelines.
