You will verify patient data, insurance details, and eligibility, interact with provider offices and payers, and maintain strong customer service. This safety-sensitive position requires attention to detail and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2–5 years of related experience.
• Preferred: Associate's Degree.

Responsibilities

• Validate patient information, scheduled test/surgery information, and insurance details; ensure authorization is accurate.
• Communicate professionally with providers, insurers, and patients; provide excellent customer service.
• Promote teamwork and engagement; seek opportunities for self-development while achieving department goals.
• Support Ancillary Authorization, Surgery Authorization, or NOA processes; use systems to secure and validate authorization information; review medical records if needed.
• Safety-sensitive position; maintain constant alertness and safe work practices.
