Job summary

HCA Florida Mercy Hospital in Miami is seeking a Rehab Aide who, under supervision, assists therapists, prepares patients for treatment, and helps maintain a clean and orderly PM department. The role supports equipment cleaning, room readiness, and clerical tasks while coordinating with the care team.

No travel is required. Ideal candidates have a High School diploma, BLS on hire (or prior), and strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

BLS certification required upon hire.
No experience required; prior patient care experience preferred.
Ability to communicate with patients, families, physicians, and health care team.
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
High School Graduate / GED.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for and assist therapists in treatment.
Maintain the PM Department in a clean and orderly fashion.
Communicate appropriate patient information and ensure adequate stock of supplies.
Perform clerical duties and assist with room organization and equipment cleaning.
Assist with transfers, gait, or balance activities and basic Excel data entry.
