Job summary

HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, FL is seeking a Rehab Aide to join our PRN pool. You will support therapists by performing routine patient activities, assisting with treatment sessions, and helping with equipment needs.

You’ll ensure patients are prepared for therapy, communicate effectively with the care team, and assist with transport to and from sessions. Requires HS diploma and current BLS; prior healthcare exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of start date.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good interpersonal communication and teamwork.
• Physical ability to assist with patients and equipment up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with treatment sessions and patient activities.
• Anticipate Therapist needs and assist with equipment.
• Prepare patients for therapy and follow patient-specific instructions.
• Communicate effectively with patients and Therapists.
• Serve as transport liaison for patients to sessions and group activities.
