Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Rehab Aide to support therapists and deliver patient care under supervision. You will assist with activities of daily living, transport patients, and help maintain a safe, clean therapy environment.

The role also includes front-desk tasks, scheduling, and basic clerical duties, with emphasis on teamwork and compassionate patient interactions. A HS diploma and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office or Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists and patients with activities of daily living under supervision.
• Perform clerical tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and chart maintenance.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment; disinfect equipment per policy.
• Transport patients to treatment areas and assist with supplies and equipment.
• Provide front desk support as needed, including greeting patients and scheduling.
