Job summary

Ortho Rhode Island is seeking a patient-care oriented individual to support front-desk and clinical operations. The role includes greeting patients, assisting PT/OT staff, preparing patients and equipment for treatments, and keeping treatment areas clean and stocked.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, familiarity with HIPAA, and knowledge of medical terminology; bilingual Spanish/Portuguese is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• At least one year of orthopedic related work.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
• Medical terminology knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a prompt, courteous and professional manner.
• Support PT and OT clinical staff in the delivery of patient care as indicated.
• Prepare patients, equipment and supplies for treatments.
• Clean, organize and maintain equipment for patient care.
• Maintain the physical environment of the facility.
• Other duties as assigned.
