Job summary

Spire Orthopedic Partners’ Ortho Rhode Island in Warwick, RI is seeking an entry-level patient support role. You will prepare treatment areas, assist with scheduling, and check-in/out patients in a fast-paced health care setting.

The position is part-time, requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and familiarity with Microsoft Office. Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm; salary range $16.00–$18.45 hourly; generous benefits and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

This position prepares patient treatment areas by cleaning and restocking supplies, supports general day to day functions including patient appointment scheduling, and client check in/out.

• Support PT and OT clinical staff in the delivery of patient care as indicated.
• Prepare patients, equipment and supplies for treatments.
• Clean, organize and maintain equipment for patient care.
• Maintain the physical environment of the facility.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• At least one year of orthopedic related work.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Discretion to work with confidential information
• Knowledge of HIPAA Regulations
• Pertinent job-related experience and Medical Terminology
• Bilingual Spanish or Portuguese a plus
• Kinesiology background a plus.
