Job summary

BrightSpring Health Services, through Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation, seeks an Admissions Manager for our Houston, TX location. The role focuses on frontline patient access, benefits verification, and family advocacy in a full-time, on-site setting.

Responsibilities include handling referrals, pre-screening, and coordinating with the clinical team to ensure timely admissions while liaising with payers for authorization and coverage. Monday–Friday schedule; no evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care field; related admissions and medical insurance experience may substitute.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in rehabilitation or healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of rehabilitation operations and third-party payer reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Receives and responds to incoming calls from referral sources and consults with Directors to determine eligibility and care.
• Completes pre-screening assessments and related admission paperwork, including payment authorization and team coordination.
• Oversees field staff assisting with pre-screening and maintains payer/contract knowledge.
