Job summary

Truist is seeking a Team Lead to manage the transaction testing process for regulatory reports and systems. You will research regulatory requirements, design source-to-report validation, and oversee data lineage across upstream systems.

The role includes leadership of offshore testing teams and collaboration with stakeholders to drive remediation and continuous improvement. The position requires strong expertise in FFIEC 031 and FR Y-9C, SQL/SAS proficiency, and proven ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 6+ years of regulatory reporting, transaction testing, or risk management.
• Subject matter expertise in banking regulations and data governance.
• Experience leading testing engagements and managing multiple deliverables.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead transaction testing activities for regulatory reports, products, and systems.
• Research and interpret regulatory instructions to design testing procedures.
• Perform source-to-report data validation across systems and controls.
• Develop sampling strategies, test scripts, and evidence requirements.
• Coordinate offshore testing teams and provide quality oversight.
• Document testing results and support remediation efforts.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies and coverage.
• Mentor junior teammates and support hiring and onboarding.
