Job summary

Northern Trust seeks a Regulatory Risk Management Specialist in Tempe, AZ to support the North America Regulatory Risk Management Lead. You will identify regulatory changes, assess impacts, and coordinate with 2LOD and business partners to ensure regulatory readiness in BAU.

The role requires strong analytical skills and experience in regulatory or risk environments, translating complex rules into practical actions. Some travel to other NT locations may be required.

• Ability to present and interpret data to tell the story.

Responsibilities

• Actively support embeddedness of the regulatory change framework and accountability models across the business.
• Partner with regulatory stakeholders to understand applicability of regulations.
• Collaborate with operational leaders to identify sustainable solutions for regulatory risk issues.
• Contribute to regulatory risk metrics and reporting to leadership.
• Identify and oversee remediation of hotspot regulatory risk areas affecting Asset Servicing.
• Contribute to wider Regulatory Risk Management communications.
• Advise on opportunities to enhance processes underlying regulatory control frameworks.
• Assist management in achieving strategic goals.
