Job summary

IntePros is seeking an Accountant II – Finance to support regulatory reporting in a broker-dealer environment. This role focuses on transforming financial data into accurate, compliant reports through data analysis, reconciliations, and control checks.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with strong Excel skills, capable of handling large datasets and providing ad hoc analysis for special projects. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent is required.
• Experience in accounting or finance with regulatory reporting is preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and data analysis are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing regulatory and financial reports for a broker-dealer environment.
• Support end-to-end reporting processes including data retrieval and calculations.
• Analyze data to identify exceptions, discrepancies and trends.
• Perform account reconciliations and control checks for data accuracy.
• Work with large Excel datasets using Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
• Provide ad hoc analysis and support special projects as assigned.
• Create, maintain, and update written desktop procedures and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support reporting and compliance initiatives.
