Job summary

A leading financial services company is seeking a Reconciliation Analyst to join their Broker Dealer Regulatory Reporting team in Jersey City, NJ. This role involves preparing regulatory reports, conducting reconciliations, and performing data analysis, heavily utilizing Excel for large datasets. The position demands a detail-oriented individual with 5-10 years of experience in financial services, strong analytical skills, and the ability to meet strict deadlines while ensuring compliance with regulations. This is a contract assignment with Tundra Technical Solutions.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in financial services.
• Experience in broker dealer or bank regulatory reporting.
• Ability to manipulate large datasets and identify anomalies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily 15c3-3 customer reserve computations.
• Extract and analyze large datasets.
• Conduct complex reconciliations and identify discrepancies.
• Perform trend and variance analysis.
• Prepare root cause analyses and develop recommendations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, pivot tables)

Analytical and problem-solving skills
