Job summary

Independent Health is seeking a Quality Assurance Auditor to perform monitoring, oversight and QA reviews across lines of business to ensure regulatory compliance and operational accuracy. The role tracks issues, reports results to stakeholders and collaborates with cross-functional teams to remediate findings and improve testing strategies.

Occasional evenings, weekends and holidays are required. Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in quality assurance/quality control, compliance monitoring, pharmaceutical, or managed care environment required.
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid or another government program strongly preferred.
• Experience with pharmacy on-line claims processing systems preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain manual and automated test scripts utilizing testing tools.
• Develop, implement and maintain test cases, data, files and strategies.
• Participate in functional, regression, performance and system testing.
• Log and manage defect status and resolution within the QA software tool.
• Develop, implement and maintain QA/QC policies and procedures.
• Conduct internal audits to measure adherence to standards and requirements.
• Support cross-functional projects and provide feedback on requirements and test approaches.
• Work on issues of moderate to complex scope requiring data analysis.
