Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Regulatory Intelligence & Implementation Specialist within the Global Security Organization in New York. The role focuses on translating evolving regulatory requirements into practical security controls and roadmaps to minimize risk and ensure compliance across regions.

You will collaborate with Legal, Privacy, Engineering, and Product teams, driving program governance, metrics, and leadership reporting.

Qualifications

• Translates regulatory requirements into operational security controls, not just reporting.
• Knowledge of GDPR, DSA, OSA, CCPA, and data sovereignty requirements.
• Experience interfacing with government oversight bodies and auditors.
• Proven cross-functional program management across Legal, Privacy, Engineering, and Product teams.
• Experience establishing metrics, reporting cadences, and strategic visibility for compliance programs.
• Excellent ability to brief senior leadership on regulatory matters.

Responsibilities

• Track and analyze US, EU, and global regulatory developments to anticipate obligations.
• Translate legal requirements into concrete security control implications for GSO.
• Build and maintain a regulatory roadmap with deadlines mapped to security efforts.
• Leverage ISO, NIST, SOC 2 to connect requirements to internal controls.
• Lead gap assessments comparing current controls against evolving requirements.
• Partner with Privacy teams to operationalize GDPR and EU requirements.
