Job summary

TikTok is seeking an Identity Access Management Governance Specialist within its Global Security Organization in New York. This role focuses on building governance frameworks and controls to strengthen identity and access security across human and non-human identities.

You will collaborate with engineering, security, privacy, compliance, and business teams to drive risk-based remediation and continuous improvement in a large-scale environment.

Qualifications

• Strong IAM concepts including identity lifecycle management, authentication, authorization, and access governance.
• Solid understanding of IAM governance principles: least privilege, SoD, access reviews, and lifecycle controls.
• Experience implementing or assessing IAM policies, standards, governance processes, or control frameworks in large enterprises.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify IAM risks, gaps, and remediation.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and continuously enhance IAM governance strategies and control frameworks (least privilege, SoD, risk-based access).
• Establish governance policies, standards, and control requirements across identity lifecycle (onboarding, provisioning, reviews, revocation, auditability).
• Drive IAM governance initiatives with stakeholders to close gaps and drive remediation.
• Use IAM data to identify excessive privileges and policy violations; coordinate risk-based remediation.
• Develop and monitor IAM governance metrics, KPIs, and compliance baselines; evolve governance for non-human identities.
