Job summary

Russell Tobin is partnering with a top Material Science organization to identify a Regulatory/Environmental Specialist for an opportunity in Maplewood, MN. The role involves data gathering and organizing BOM data, and coordinating with stakeholders to maintain material records and lifecycle documentation.

Experience with SAP/PLM and BOM data is preferred. This is a 12-month contract with potential to extend and a pay range of $25–$28 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Strong Excel and data organization skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to work with SKU, BOM, product, and raw material data.
• Ability to work across multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with SAP, PLM, BOMs, or product data preferred.
• Prior experience with company CDMS, LCMS, SAP, or PLM beneficial.
• Bachelor's Degree in a science or engineering field.
• Location model: Maplewood, MN 55144.
• Position Type: 12-month contract with potential to extend.
• Pay range approved: $25-$28/hr. depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Gather or organize manufacturing, plant, made-in/sold-in, application, and business data.
• Organize product ID lists into waves and tracking files.
• Help group products into product families such as foam, acoustics, electronics, or other categories.
• Support BOM lookup and tracking from company systems or other sources.
• Track missing, incomplete, or unresolved BOMs.
• Assist with extracting raw materials from BOMs.
• Conduct data checks and identify and maintain raw material gap list.
• Help prepare raw material data for review and supplier follow-up.
• Prepare data entry packets using approved formulation and raw material information into designated company systems.
• Review finalized items for completeness.
• Create or support creation of product EHS life cycle management records in company's systems.
• Route LCM records to appropriate company subject matter experts (SMEs) for review.
• Maintain accurate trackers for open items, status, and handoffs.
• Escalate identified issues to the project leads in a timely manner.
