Job summary

Clear Street is seeking an experienced Software Engineer on the Controls Engineering team in New York. You will automate regulatory processes by processing data from our data warehouse to generate clean reporting and reconciliations, partnering with Compliance, Finance and Treasury to translate business needs into scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• At least five years of software design and development experience including CI/CD, source code control, testing, and quality management.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL with experience designing databases and working with Snowflake data warehouses.
• Ability to translate regulatory/financial obligations into scalable technical solutions and reports.

Responsibilities

• Automate Compliance & Finance regulatory processes by processing data from the data warehouse to generate reporting and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Finance, and Treasury to understand requirements and deliver clean designs.
• Serve as tech lead: provide guidance, prioritize work, perform design and code reviews, and evolve engineering standards.
