Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on credit union regulatory compliance (ECOA, BSA, TILA, HMDA, and related laws).
• Draft and negotiate commercial transaction documents (loan agreements, operating agreements, leases, service agreements).
• Advise leadership on legal opportunities and risks with business considerations.
• Work with teams to align legal advice with objectives and constraints.
• Serve as internal SME on substantive areas of law in the portfolio.
• Support Self-Help's economic inclusion initiatives.
