Forbes Technical Consulting in Chicago, IL, seeks a Senior Director, Regulatory & Compliance to lead the Market Regulation function within a growing Exchange. This senior role reports to the CCRO and partners with regulatory authorities to ensure robust compliance and market integrity.

The position is full‑time with hybrid work (onsite Tue–Thu) and requires CFTC/NFA experience, a strong compliance program background, and a track record of working with regulators.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in regulatory compliance leadership.
• Experience in DCM/DCO or CFTC-regulated org.
• Direct CFTC/NFA experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CEA, CFTC Core Principles, market surveillance.
• Experience overseeing AML/KYC programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor the Exchange's compliance program.
• Liaise with CFTC and regulatory authorities.
• Oversee audits, examinations, inquiries, and reporting.
• Lead training on compliance awareness.
• Drive automation across monitoring and reporting.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Ops, Tech.
• Support market regulation and investigations.
