Job summary

OMG Inc. is a leading manufacturer of fastening products and technologies for the roofing and construction industries. The Compliance Specialist will handle customer compliance requests (Prop 65, PFAS, REACH, RoHS, Conflict Minerals, packaging) and coordinate with suppliers to maintain material data and issue certifications.

The role collaborates with Procurement, Quality, Sales, NPD, and EHS to keep data audit-ready and responsive to regulatory changes across US and EU markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3-5+ years in product regulatory compliance or supplier quality in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of REACH, RoHS, TSCA, Prop 65, PFAS & conflict minerals due diligence.
• Strong organizational skills for high-volume requests.
• Ability to interpret regulatory text into practical sourcing/documentation.
• Excellent written communication for certifications and internal guidance.
• Experience with Excel and document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the customer compliance request queue from intake to response.
• Draft and maintain standard compliance statements, certificates, and templates; respond to routine requests.
• Maintain a master log of certifications and audit-ready documentation.
• Manage ongoing compliance programs for chemical regulations (REACH, RoHS, TSCA, Prop 65, PFAS).
• Track packaging-related regulations (EU Packaging Waste Regulation, CONEG).
• Monitor evolving regulatory requirements for US and EU markets.
• Collect, validate, and maintain supplier declarations and data.
• Administer Conflict Minerals due diligence (CMRT, recordkeeping, reporting).
• Partner with Procurement to embed compliance into supplier qualification.
• Provide compliance training to Procurement, Sales, and Customer Service.
