Job summary

OMG Inc. is seeking a Compliance Specialist to manage customer and regulatory compliance for product content and sourcing. You will own intake, coordinate with suppliers for data, and issue accurate compliance statements to customers.

You will partner with Procurement, Quality, Sales, NPD, and EHS to keep data audit-ready and responsive to evolving regulations across US and international markets. A Bachelor's degree and 3–5+ years of related experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 3-5+ years of experience in product regulatory compliance, materials compliance, or supplier quality in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of REACH, RoHS, TSCA, Prop 65, PFAS, and Conflict Minerals due diligence.
• Strong organizational skills with high volume of requests and deadlines.
• Ability to translate regulatory text into practical sourcing and documentation.
• Excellent written communication for customer certifications and internal guidance.
• Proficiency with Excel and document management systems; supplier portals a plus.
• Professional demeanor with employees and customers.
• Strong PC skills including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Own intake and resolution of customer compliance requests (Prop 65, PFAS, REACH, RoHS, etc.).
• Coordinate with suppliers to collect and maintain material data and issue certifications.
• Maintain master log of certifications and audit-ready documentation.
• Manage compliance programs for chemical regulations (TSCA PFAS, REACH SVHC, RoHS, Prop 65).
• Track packaging regulations and evolving regulatory requirements for US and EU markets.
• Coordinate with Procurement to embed compliance in supplier qualification and sourcing decisions.
• Collaborate with NPD and Quality to assess new materials against restricted lists.
• Work with EHS on facility-level environmental reporting and data consistency.
• Provide compliance training to Procurement, Sales, and Customer Service.
