Job summary

AHS LLC seeks a senior Compliance and Operations Manager for the Mon EMS program in Morgantown, WV. You will oversee regulatory, privacy, and safety programs, manage fleet, inventory, and facilities, and align with state and federal licensure requirements.

You’ll develop data-driven risk assessments, lead audits, maintain vendor relationships, and advise senior management on compliance strategy while serving as HIPAA Privacy Officer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Operations, or Business Administration required.
• EMT licensed clinical provider required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Three years of EMS/Healthcare/Operations experience required.

Responsibilities

• Identify compliance issues through audits, investigations, inspections and assessments and provide resolution.
• Monitor changes in EMS regulations and update policies and training accordingly.
• Develop emergency response plans ensuring adherence to regulations and coordinate with public health agencies.
• Lead safety and risk management efforts and chair monthly safety hazard audits.
• Oversee Biomedical maintenance, grant and policy management, and vendor relationships for equipment.
• Develop data collection systems to assess risk and resolve operational problems.
• Maintain vendor relationships and insurance records; pursue cost-effective service.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Provide regulatory guidance for agency compliance initiatives.
• Oversee logistics, fleet, and facilities with licensing compliance.
• Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments for regulatory compliance.
• Monitor laws and regulations and update company policies accordingly.
• Provide training on compliance topics to employees.
• Prepare compliance reports for regulatory agencies.
• Advise senior management on compliance matters and risk.
• Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and documentation.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in compliance.
• Participate in compliance meetings as required.
• Serve as HIPAA Privacy Officer for the agency.

Support compliance with safety and risk management standards related to EMS, to include serving as the Safety Committee chair and leading monthly safety hazard audits.5. Oversee Bio Med maintenance, grant and policy management and mutual aid agreements, including managing vendor relationships for equipment and facility maintenance.6. Develop a system of data collection and analysis to assess risk and provide resolution of operational problems.7. Maintain ownership of vendor relationships, asset management/tracking and insurance policies, to include proactively seeking out new vendor partnerships to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality service delivery, asset reporting to insurance agencies and managing insurance claims & renewals.8. Work closely and transparently with all external partners, including third-party vendors and consultants.9. Assist in the development and implementation of risk management strategies through providing regulatory and compliance guidance for agency compliance initiatives.10. Oversee logistics, fleet, and facility maintenance, related to regulatory compliance and state licensure requirements, such as vehicle title and licensure, etc.11. Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures, as required.12. Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.13.
