Job summary

TowneBank is seeking a Compliance Monitoring and Testing professional to perform regulatory monitoring and testing across TowneBank and its affiliates to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and Towne policy.

The role emphasizes timely completion of assignments, clear reporting to the Compliance Assurance Manager, remediation of findings, ongoing knowledge of consumer protection laws, and acting as a subject matter expert in compliance testing.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Eye for detail and computer proficiency.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and juggle priorities.
• Ability to work well within a team environment.
• At least 2 years of experience in banking or financial services compliance testing, risk management, or audit.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Complete regulatory compliance monitoring and testing assignments according to department standards and within timeframes.
• Communicate results to the Compliance Assurance Manager efficiently, promptly, and concisely.
• Follow up on management’s corrective actions to reported regulatory findings.
• Keep the Compliance Assurance Manager informed of status, progress and impediments.
• Research regulatory requirements relevant to monitoring and testing assignments using approved resources.
