Job summary

TowneBank is seeking a Senior Leader to oversee the Compliance Assurance Program, directing testing and assurance activities across the bank's regulatory landscape. This role will partner with Compliance Advisory and risk management teams to ensure robust control testing and timely remediation.

The position involves managing a team, defining testing scope, reporting to senior leadership, and aligning testing outputs with regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, risk management, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in compliance testing, compliance risk management, or audit.
• 5+ years of experience managing compliance professionals.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. banking laws and regulations applicable to mid-sized banks or larger.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Compliance Assurance Program and testing schedule, aligning with laws, regulations, and business processes.
• Approve testing methodologies, workpapers, sampling techniques, and reporting.
• Develop and mentor the Compliance Assurance Program team and set performance expectations.
