Job summary

Through disciplined and accretive investments, we have successfully tripled the size of our company since going public in December 2021 while maintaining a strong balance sheet.Crescent Energy is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Analyst to support upstream and downstream operations in Texas and ensure compliance with the Texas Railroad Commission (RRC), and other applicable regulatory agencies. This role will collaborate across multiple disciplines to ensure regulatory alignment and will take ownership of key processes related to operations and facilities across Crescent’s South Texas/Eagle Ford Asset.Key Responsibilities:Manage production related regulatory activities (all activities include notifying the field, internal communications and filing process):o Workover/Maintenance Rig – Regulatory Reporting for South Texaso H-15, H-5, MITs, W-3 and W-3A, P-4 Changes in Haulers, H-9 changesPrepare, submit, and track all regulatory and permitting activities associated with drilling and operations of wells including BLM APDs, GAU, W-2/G-1, P-12, P-16, P-4, drilling H-9, flaring exceptions (SWR32), sundry notices, commingling applications (P-17), etc.Manage deadlines and coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure alignment with applicable federal, state, and local permitting standards, and obtain timely approvals.Monitor regulatory changes that impact permitting requirements.Track new production, completions, and new facilities for regulatory compliance.Coordinate the filing of Critical Infrastructure Designation, Weather Emergency Readiness Attestation, and Emergency Operations Plan with the RRC to ensure compliance (SWR65/66).Anticipate the regulatory needs of the company and effectively communicate requirements and expectations.Prepare reports for management and provide timely and accurate updates in operations meeting.Required Qualifications:5 or more years of experience in regulatory, environmental, consulting, compliance, and remediation practices within the oil and gas industry.Proven ability to execute regulatory workstreams associated with active drilling programs.Working knowledge of RRC requirements, field rules, and oil and gas operations.Strong understanding of the RRC online system and associated online applications.Excellent communication and project management skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Self-motivated team player able to efficiently, effectively, and timely progress projects.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.Experience supporting South Texas oil and gas assets.Crescent Energy is an equal opportunity employer.
