Job summary

Bank of China in New York seeks an associate to support Front Line Unit (FLU) compliance oversight, regulatory change management, and compliance risk metrics. The candidate should have a Finance-related degree and 0-3 years in compliance, with strong analytical and communication skills, and Chinese language proficiency. CAMS is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting/Actuarial Science, Economics, Law, or related quantitative discipline.
• 0-3 years of Legal & Compliance related experience for Associate level.
• 0-3 years of experience in BSA/AML/CFT laws and OFAC/sanctions compliance for Associate level.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to summarize large information clearly.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Handle FLU BSA and Compliance Oversight reporting materials, and quarterly meeting reporting preparation.
• Draft and distribute meeting minutes for FLU BSA Officers and review compliance meetings.
• Support CBC onboarding reviews to address compliance risk.
• Maintain Wolfsberg Questionnaire updates across departments.
• Assist with regulatory change management tracking and reporting.
• Provide regulatory updates on ESG quarterly report to Head Office and ESG Committee.
• Oversee FLU Compliance Control Inventory and testing plans.
• Present metrics to QCUs, AMLCC Subcommittee, and EROC meetings.
